The other day Enzo got mad because I wouldn’t pick him up while I was cooking dinner so he climbed into his chair and pouted with his blankie. I’m not going to lie – it was the cutest thing ever!

Pearl told me the other evening: The other day at school Mrs. Hillaire told me how to use scissors. Fingers go in the big hole and thumb goes in the little hole. But on Minnie [Mouse TV Show] her scissors have the same size holes so I’m just going to do it Minnie’s way.

This morning Pearl made a sailboat out of blocks that actually looks like a sailboat!

Today Pearl was telling me that she wanted some new birdie clothing.
Pearl – “Mama, will you get me a bathing suit with a picture of a birdie on it?”
Me – “I’ll see what I can do.”
Pearl – “Mama, I need some birdie sweating pants too, please.”
Me – “Birdie SWEATING pants?”
Pearl – “Yeah – birdie sweating pants.”

In Enzo news, he suddenly started talking a LOT more. He used to just say, “No! No! No!” and point when he wanted something but now he’s trying so hard to make out words like snack (SHNAHCK), clementine (CAMABA) and juice (JOOSH!). Before you know it, we’ll have Enzo Quotes of the Day!

Enzo’s pal Lila came down for a visit and the two of them had a ball playing together! (Minus a few times when Enzo forgot to be a gentleman and pushed poor Lila out of his way). The two of them crack each other up and it was fun to watch them play together.
