I had bought some Christmas decals for the windows but they didn’t stick very well. This morning Enzo was trying so hard to get them to stay up on the window but was having no luck. Finally, he crumpled them all into a little ball, went into the kitchen and threw them in the garbage! This kid is NOT messing around! Pearl has a set of two pencils with this Umizoomi learning set. One had been missing for weeks but Jill found it today and put it back in the box. Anyway, Pearl sees it tonight and says: “Oh, two Pencils, the more we get together!” [she pauses to think of a better line] “The more the merrier!” -Morgan Me: “Enzo, say: Santa.” Enzo: “Mommy!” -Morgan I walk in the house after a long week and Pearl helps me take my scarf and jacket off, then without asking Enzo walks over with my slippers. -Morgan Today we went Christmas tree tailgating… yes, it’s as AWESOME as it sounds! We went to a Christmas tree farm up in Red Hook with Aunt Kathy, Uncle Clayton, Cousin Kristen and some other Hudson friends and tailgated. We ate delicious chili, soup, hot dogs and cookies and then hunted for our tree. All four of us had a great time being outside, eating, chatting and getting into the Christmas spirit! Enzo enjoying his first candy cane: Pearl (or “Percy” as she likes to be called these days) enjoying a candy cane too: Santa led a parade of bagpipers to the Christmas tree farm! Daddy cutting down Kristen’s tree (notice someone’s plumber’s crack?): Daddy cutting down our tree while his assistant waits patiently: The kids with Aunt Kathy – happy after a successful tree hunt! We couldn’t have asked for a better day! xoxo |
