Jill neglected to mention that she made the two costumes for our kids. They both loved them and we had lots of compliments everywhere we took the kids. And all for eight dollars. Thanks honey! -Morgan I hope everyone had a safe and happy Halloween! Ours started last weekend at the Fishkill children’s parade. Pearl the purple owl and Enzo the bat had a great time showing off their costumes and marching down Main Street. Then yesterday, after playing in the snow with some friends, we headed up to Whittier to visit Nana and Grandma. The kids got lots of treats and Enzo ate his first piece of Halloween candy: Then we met up with the family at Uncle Tate and Aunt Kyung’s. They live in a great neighborhood with lots of kids so we had fun taking the kids trick-or-treating. At first, Pearl wouldn’t let people put candy in her owl bucket. The first house we went to she took the candy out of her bucket, gave it back to the woman and said, “I just want to pick it myself.” Then she chose a piece and thanked the lady. We explained that if someone gives you candy it’s rude to give it back and she eventually got the hang of it. I can’t wait for next year! xoxo |
