Just now Jill walked into the dining room and waved to Enzo and he raised his hand and waved back! I pulled the camera out an he did it again for me, but even more excited since we were cheering him on so much. This is the first time we’ve seen him do this, and it’s great to see this behavior develop.

As you can tell by our lack of posts – it’s been a busy week! Of course, last Sunday was Enzo’s baby dedication ceremony at church. It was a beautiful day, the service was lovely and we had a great time visiting with our family. Unfortunately, we didn’t take many photos so we’re going to try to get some from the people who were there to share. Until then, here are two fun pics:

What a happy day!

We had a special visit last weekend from our friend Rachael and her two adorable girls, Marishka and Irena. We had a great time catching up and Pearl especially loved being around a big girl like Marishka (she’s only four months older than Pearl but you can see such a difference in maturity!). Here are a few pics from the visit…

Here’s a conversation I had with Pearl this morning, starting with her:

I want to be an owl when I grow up.
Ok. What’s Daddy going to be when he grows up?
A dinosaur (no hesitation.)
Pearl, that’s funny for a couple of reasons.
What’s Mommy going to be when she grows up?
An Owl.
How about Enzo?
A Doctor (no hesitation at all)
