Wow! Yesterday we took Pearl to Radio City Music Hall to see Yo Gabba Gabba Live. It was incredible! We had such a wonderful day and here are a few highlights:
We drove into the city and as soon as we got out of the car Pearl started yelling “I see a taxicab! And another one! And another one!” This went on for about 5 minutes.

We walked to Radio City and she loved looking at all the people, dogs and tall buildings.
Then we got into the theater, got some popcorn (Pearl’s favorite) and took our seats:
We had pretty good seats on the floor so Pearl had a great view of the stage. When the show started she didn’t show much emotion – she looked like she does when she watches the show on TV. I think she was a little confused.
But after one or two songs she got much more into it. She was laughing and smiling and she even did some of the dance moves!
It was exciting for all of us since we knew every word to every song and watching Pearl’s face was priceless!
After the show we walked down to Times Square. Pearl was very impressed when she saw how tall Daddy’s office building is:

Then we had lunch and got to visit Toys R Us! She loved the dinosaur:
As we were walking around the city I kept thinking about how lucky we are to have such a happy little girl who loves to see and do new things. I was also thinking about how fast she’s growing up. She looked like such a little lady holding me and Morgan’s hands, navigating her way through the sea of people. Time keeps flying by, but I’m happy we can take the time to enjoy these happy, special days.
