Pearl and Daddy finish up their errands and get to drive a fancy car!

He was an angel the whole time. He was checking out all the shelves and taking in the smells. Pearl was pretty good too.

Things are going well!  We went to the pediatrician on Monday and we were so pleased to find out that Enzo gained 7 ounces between Saturday and Monday!  That means he’s already surpassed his birth weight which is a great sign that he is thriving.  Our little boy LOVES to eat!  On the flip side, he is such a voracious eater that the nursing is very painful.  It feels a lot like when I was nursing Pearl (I guess all of us Turners love to eat!) but hopefully things will get better soon so we can continue.

Speaking of Pearl, she is adjusting to this new life force among us.  She likes “New Baby Enzo” a lot, but she has mixed feelings about me not being able to give her as much attention as she’s used to.  It’s so heartbreaking to see her get upset when I can’t hold her right away, but we are trying to get into a bit of a routine and remind her that we love her very much.  Today we’re having her little friend Margo over for a playdate so that should be fun. 

Morgan has been incerdible throughout all of this.  He’s been changing diapers, helping with every mid-night feeding and taking Pearl on “special missions” to keep her occupied.

So life is good.  We are a little sleepy but VERY happy.

Mommy and Enzo have an appointment at the hospital and Pearl and Daddy found a room with lots and lots of toys while we wait! Look at all those buttons!

We all got out of the house last night for some Soft Serve. The temperature fell just enough to be bearable. Enzo slept the whole time while Pearl did her best to get everyone covered in apricot ice cream. I should have taken an “after” photo!
