One more week!

The days are going by so quickly! Morgan and I went upstate last weekend and got a lot accomplished. I had my dress fitting at Jola’s bridal, Kyung and I picked up the bridesmaids dresses, Morgan and I got haircuts and we met with Pastor Keith on Saturday to discuss our ceremony.

I would like to take this chance to say a big THANK YOU to my parents, Jay and Teri for all their hard work and generosity. They’ve been so supportive and enthusiastic and there is no way we could have done this without them. They have helped us with just about every task we’ve done which has been so special and made things so much more fun. Just the time and gas they’ve spent picking us up from the Poughkeepsie train station is amazing! So thank you Mom and Dad – you are the best!

Morgan and I will keep checking off more tasks here before we head upstate next week. We can’t wait to see everyone and if you have any questions please always feel free to email or give us a call.

Love,
Jill

It's almost here!

Hello!

We’ve got less than three weeks until the big day! It’s coming up so quickly. We have lots of loose ends to tie up in the next few weeks, but I think we’re doing all right.

Our first big development is that we got our marriage license! We rode our bikes to the county clerk’s office in Brooklyn and filled out all our paperwork (Morgan doesn’t look nervous, does he?). Now we can officially get married!

This weekend we’ll be running around Hudson doing wedding errands. I have a dress fitting, we are meeting with Pastor Keith about our ceremony and we’re both getting haircuts at our favorite salon so we look our best on the big day!

Now for some housekeeping. Thank you to everyone who has booked their rooms with me. I’m in the midst of sending out email confirmations to everyone, but please let me know if you have any questions. I should remind everyone that if you are staying at the Rensselaerville Institute on Friday night check in is at 4:00. If you are staying on Saturday night you can check in at any point during the day on Saturday. There are horseshoe pits, lots of room for bocce ball as well as tennis courts and my favorite – badminton! So feel free to come early and relax before the ceremony.

Also, the Route 85 entrance to the Institute is closed so you will need to use the Pond Hill entrance. Click HERE to see detailed directions.

I hope you all are doing well. Please don’t hesitate to email or call if you have any questions.

Love,
Jill
