THANK YOU!!!

HOLY COW! This past weekend I was surprised by my Mom and my bridesmaids with a bridal shower and bachelorette party!

I was told that it was my grandmother’s 70th birthday and we were having a small party at Kozel’s. Morgan had to work, so I came up on my own. When I walked through the door at Kozel’s the room was filled with almost every woman I know. What a great feeling! Even Morgan’s mom, Rita came all the way from Canada for the event. After I got to say hello to everyone we ate and played a game where Morgan made a SUPRISE appearance (turns out he didn’t have to work after all). Then I opened so many beautiful and very thoughtful gifts. I have to thank everyone again for their generosity, warm wishes and love. I felt so special.

After the shower, we went back to my parents’ house for a small picnic and then the girls and I were going to go out dancing. As were getting ready to leave a man in a tuxedo came into the backyard. It was our chauffeur!

The girls had gotten a limo to drive us around Albany! I couldn’t believe it. We all piled into the limo (including my Nana) and headed off. Nana opted out of coming to the dance clubs with us so we dropped her off at home and then all of us girls went out. It was so much fun and I don’t think I could ever thank my friends enough.

It was a weekend I’ll never forget and I just want to thank my Mom and all the lovely ladies in my life again and again.

Love,
Jill

What could this be?

Jill and I spent the weekend upstate with her folks this fourth of July weekend. I’m told it was a much smaller bbq/party than years past, but I’ve gotta say – I think it was just the right crowd. Jay took a trip to Home Depot with me and then we started working on this. I don’t want to post any more pictures of it finished, as that would ruin the surprise. Lets just say, after 2 hours of contstruction (thanks Jay!) and about 8 hours of sanding, I’m very pleased. Less than two months till this gets revealed!
